What can we do to solve the land pollution? / Rafael González.
To avoid contamination of the soil, that is to say that it is getting worse and to reduce the already present, it is necessary to take into account what are the possible solutions for soil contamination. So, these are some points to keep in mind to achieve it:
-Reduce: we must remember the 3R of ecology and start by reducing the amount of materials and goods we consume, we must take responsibility and only consume what is necessary to not waste because waste and waste pollute and accelerate the wear and tear of the planet. So, start by reducing and saving on energy, materials, food and other products.
-Reuse: the next R is to reuse. It is important that each product we have on hand we use as much as possible, extending its life and utility to the fullest. This greatly reduces the consumption and misuse of resources.
-Recycling: finally, the third R reminds us that we must recycle materials when we can no longer reuse them. In this way they will be treated in special recycling plants and this material will return to its basic state to re-manufacture another new product, which we will give the maximum use. With these first three steps, soil contamination is considerably reduced.
-Avoid contaminated water: to water the plants and the garden always use clean water, to avoid polluting discharges into the ground. If you collect water from the rain, which is a very common ecological practice, make sure it is not acid rainwater or, of course, use water used to clean the home
or clothes that carry soaps.
-Help to clean affected areas: finally, when a land begins to be contaminated it is vital that we help to stop the origin of the contamination and to clean the area, as well as if in case it is a very polluted land we act in the same way so that it does not continue to get worse and go away solving.
